The Ananda Marga Special Academic Institution (AMSAI) – Mindanao is an academic institution run by missionaries of Ananda Marga, a socio-spiritual movement based on the principles of Tantra Yoga propounded by Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar. Its system of education, called Neo-Humanist Education (NHE), is rooted in the philosophy and principles of Neo-Humanism (stands for “the practice of love for all creation including plants, animals, and the inanimate world”). This outlook is ideally suited for the changing needs and vision of today’s society with its shift from a materialistic world-view to one based on holistic and collective harmony.
AMSAI-Mindanao is part of a global network of Neo-humanist institutions where over a thousand of primary and secondary schools and children centers are advancing excellence and integrity in over fifty countries in the developed and developing countries. Presently, it has established seven schools in various strategic areas of the southern part of Maharlika (Philippines) and is continually expanding to provide accesible holistic early childhood education to the region.
